These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Hello Philippines
directory platform (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to be bound by these
terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering an account, uploading photos, or browsing the Service, you accept these
Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy,
Terms of Service, and
Cookie Policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18 you must have
permission from a parent or legal guardian.
3. Account Registration
When you register, you agree to provide accurate, current information (email, full name,
address, town/city/province, phone, and profile picture) and to keep it up to date. You
are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs
under your account.
4. User-Uploaded Content
You retain ownership of the photos and captions you upload. By submitting content you
grant Hello Philippines a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to display,
resize, and distribute that content on the Service for the purpose of promoting the
featured province.
All uploaded photos are subject to moderation. A photo is only shown publicly after it has
been approved by an authorised administrator. We reserve the right to reject or remove any
content at our discretion.
5. Business Listings
Service providers, product sellers, and tourism operators listed on the Service are
independent third parties. Hello Philippines does not endorse or guarantee their services,
products, or safety. Bookings, purchases, and enquiries are made directly with the
provider.
6. Prohibited Uses
- Uploading photos you do not own or do not have permission to share.
- Submitting misleading, defamatory, obscene, or illegal content.
- Impersonating any person or entity.
- Attempting to breach the security of the Service.
- Scraping or bulk-downloading content without written consent.
7. Intellectual Property
The Hello Philippines brand, design, and code (excluding user-uploaded content) are the
property of Hello Philippines and may not be reproduced without permission.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the
information about services, products, or destinations is complete, current, or accurate.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, Hello Philippines shall not be liable
for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the
Service.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms. You may
close your account at any time by contacting us.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
Any disputes shall be brought before the courts of Cebu City.
