These Terms of Service describe the rules and expectations for using the Hello Philippines
platform - including the community postcard gallery, business directory, and province
editions. Read together with our Terms & Conditions.
1. Description of the Service
Hello Philippines is a directory platform that helps travellers and locals discover
services, products, and tourism destinations in Philippine provinces. Content is organised
by province (currently featuring Siquijor, Cebu, Bohol, and Negros Oriental).
2. User Accounts
An account is required to upload photos to the community postcard gallery. Registration
requires an email address (used as your login), full name, address, contact number,
birthday, profile picture, and password. Facebook / Messenger name is optional.
3. Content Moderation
Every photo uploaded to the postcard gallery is placed in a pending queue and is only
publicly displayed after an administrator has approved it. We record the approval date
and the identifier of the approving admin for audit purposes. Approval decisions are made
at our sole discretion.
4. Business Listings
Business listings (services, products, tourism destinations) are added and edited by
authorised administrators. If you are a business owner and wish to update or remove your
listing, contact us using the details below.
5. Fees
Use of the Service is currently free. If we introduce paid features in the future we will
notify you in advance and give you the option to opt in.
6. Service Availability
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned
maintenance may temporarily take the Service offline.
7. Modifications to the Service
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Where changes affect your account or
uploaded content, we will make reasonable effort to notify you.
8. Third-Party Links
The Service links to third-party sites (for example Google Maps location links on featured
destinations). We are not responsible for the content, availability, or privacy practices
of those third parties.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate
these Terms of Service, our Terms & Conditions, or applicable
law.
